Premnagar Methodist Church is located in Premnagar Village in the Carron Tea Garden area. I began ministry work there in 2007.
The ministry in this village has faced many challenges. The tea garden company did not grant permission for the construction of a church building. We once started building a small church near the home of one of our church members, but the local community opposed the project and prevented us from continuing.
A large number of people from the Asur community live in this area, making ministry work challenging. At present, there is no church building and not even a permanent room for worship services. Therefore, we conduct worship and ministry activities in the homes of believers. Every few months, the meeting place changes from one believer's house to another, allowing the congregation to continue gathering for worship and fellowship.
